Dr. Carrie,
I just wanted to thank you for all that you have done for me. It was only 2 months ago that I had a friend convinced me to visit you. I wasn't sure that you would be able to do anything for me. I had already scheduled surgery for my back. They were going to fuse together L-4 and L-5 because of Arthritis. And I was only going to give you less than a month to try and help me. Well, 2 weeks after beginning to work with you (actually you do all ofthe work), I called my surgeon and cancelled the surgery scheduled for the next week. I am able to move around a lot better. I can crawl around an attic or under a house. I can squeeze through tight areas dragging a charged 1 3/4fire hose without all of the stiffness and pain. It's even easier to climb a 105 foot ladder. And without being able to do all of that, I wouldn't be able to do my job as a Firefighter. I would love to say that you cured me 100%, but, Arthritis is pretty tough on the body. But I can say that I feel pretty close to 100%. I am a 50 year old Firefighter that had never been to a Chiropractor until January of this year. Coming to see you has helped me to continue doing something that I love to do—fighting fires!! With your help, you have extended my career.

I have been an advocate of chiropractic care for about ten years. I started receiving adjustments from Dr. Carrie Chmielewicz in July 2004.
I experienced sporadic asthma attacks, sinus infections, pre-cancerous polyps, foot pain, and sciatica. The asthma onset was 3 yrs of age. The other ailments came after the age of 50. I saw my primary care physician initially and he referred me to specialists. I use an inhaler for asthma emergencies. I am not big on prescription drugs. The asthma episodes were the most unnerving. Thanks to a referral from a friend, I started seeing Dr. Chmielewicz right before
Thanksgiving 2004. I started having frequent headaches in January 2004. They
came almost daily- at least 5 days a week. No amount of Tylenol would reduce the pain. I first mentioned the pain to my gynecologist in April 2004. She referred me to a neurologist whom I began seeing in July 2004. After CAT Scans with no abnormalities I was put on 3 different medications, 2 for pain and 1 as a preventative. After my CAT Scans I was disappointed because no effort was being made to determine WHY I was getting headaches. I did not want to spend every day on medications. When I went to Dr. Chmielewicz, after my x-rays and scan, she assured me that she knew why I was having headaches and she could help me. I have been keeping a headache calendar for about 6 months. Prior to seeing Dr. Chmielewicz for treatment, I had headaches 24 days in the month of October and 21 days in the month of November, and this was all while I was taking a preventative medication. My first adjustment was around December 1st. After 11 adjustments I only had headaches 12 days in December January has been a great month with
only 6 days with headaches. If I do get a headache now, they are so mild that no medications are even necessary. I quit taking all of my medications from the
neurologist.
I am grateful to Dr. Chmielewicz, Chris, and Misty for the excellent care I have
received and for my increasing number of headache free days.

Chiropractic care began April 14, 2003. Before Chiropractic care I had three to four headaches a month and constant upper back pain. I had a difficult time standing up with correct posture. I suffered with headaches for at least ten years. My back pain bothered me for about seven or eight months. I had not seen any doctors concerning these problems prior to Dr.Chmielewicz. I tried basic pain relievers (Tylenol, Advil). Because of my back pain, I had a difficult time picking up my baby and sitting for very long.

Chiropractic care began October 30, 2002. Prior to Chiropractic care, I was waking up in the middle of the night with numbness, tingling and pain to both upper extremities.
